Some time in the winter, D said he wanted to plant a red pepper plant. So I took some seeds from a pepper that he was eating, and placed them in damp paper towel, on the top of our t.v. The plant grew and flowered but never produced anything. We took the plant to Granny's garden and planted it out front. When we dropped the boys off yesterday, we noticed one lone pepper on his plant.
D picked it today, and will let it ripen (so it will turn red), and then snack time.

He was very excited about the pepper and checked out all the new ones that look like they will grow as well.

That is way too exciting! I bet it will taste better than any other pepper he ever had before.
