We went to Gat. Park yesterday for a quick walk and to take some pictures. Well let me tell you our twenty minute walk, became a two hour hike. We walked 4 kilometers and were no where by our car when done. The red dots mark the approximate path we took. We also forgot to take any pictures as we were more concerned about getting back to where we started. D loved the walk and found leaves, acorns and rocks.
When we got to a parking lot, a family took pity on us and drove A back to our car. It took them 30 minutes by car to get there and back.

That is a wild story. I am so glad you found your way out before dark and that someone drove A back to your car.
